In the spirit of Halloween and trying to get more traffic to the site, I have decided to host a Halloween Short Story Prompt! I will post the prompt on Tuesday and try to write on the prompt myself to post on Friday if you’re interested.

I encourage you to write along with me. Once I have finished my version, I’ll post it here. If you decide to write your own, post it in the comments below!

This week’s prompt, in honor of Halloween coming up, is to write a haunted house story. Use the image here to guide your writing.

You can write your version of the haunted house story, try to subvert the tried and true Halloween story, or just take your creative writing in whatever way you want! Just make sure to post your story in the comments below!

Also, don’t write too much! try to keep it all to 500 – 1000 words!
