Apple has announced the next version of AirPods, the AirPods Pro. These Airpods are similar to the previous AirPods in how they work with a case and wireless. However, these AirPods actually fit in your Ear Canal to help block out sound.

Blocking the sound is only half the battle. Apple is including Active Noise Canceling and Transparency Mode.

Active Noise Canceling helps to isolate sounds like an airplane engine. It uses the microphones on the outside of the device to figure out what noises it can disrupt.

There’s also transparency mode which was new on the Beats Solo Pro. Transparency pipes in audio from the outside world while you are listening to music. If you are going for a run or listening for an announcement transparency will help you hear it.

The AirPods come with 3 different sized ear tips to help you find the right size. The AriPods Pro will also check once you have the tips in your ear to make sure you are using the correct size. It’s all pretty cool.
