In a surprise announcement today, Apple announced an updated MacBook and MacBook Pro.

The new MacBooks are running with brand new Intel 9th generation and don’t really appear to have any outward cosmetic or design changes.

But on the inside, Apple has replaced the 3rd generation butterfly keyboard with what they are calling a Force-Touch Keyboard. Instead of the new butterfly mechanism which continually saw problems, Apple has designed and created a new system. Much like the Force-Touch Track Pad, the keyboard doesn’t move, but has vibrations that make it feel like you are pressing a key. In fact, the entire level that senses the touch input on the track pad runs up the entire keyboard.

There are no moving parts with this new keyboard, so there isn’t any room for dust or lint to cripple your system now. All those people that have been holding off getting an Apple laptop because of the keyboard, you can try out this new system.

The new systems are $100 more expensive than the previous models that the updates are replacing. They also come with a minimum of 512 GB of super fast SSD.

Of course, if you haven’t figured out by now, this is an April Fools joke. We can only imagine what it will be like once Apple does fix the keyboards on these Mac systems.
