Apple today released an update to iOS 12 today with a .0.1 release.
The update fixes the battery issue that the new iPhone XS and XS Max have been experiencing.
It also flips the number key and emoji key on the iPad keyboard back to the original spots.
This update will also resolve the iPhone connecting to slower 2.4 GHz bands on WiFi instead of the faster 5 GHz.
This update doesn’t solve the ”beautygate” skin smoothing quality of the front camera in low light on the new phones, nor does it add all the new emojis that will be added in when iOS updates to 12.1.
If you don’t have automatic updates on, Update now by going to settings > general > software update.
