Apple has released an update to iOS 12 with iOS 12.1.1.  The update mainly focuses on updates to FaceTime along with some other improvements.

Apple has tweaked the User Experience when using FaceTime to make it more useable.  When Apple updated to iOS 12, it moved the flip camera button, which would transfer the camera from front to back or back to front. You would have to press the three dot button and then the flip camera button.  This could take up to three button presses.

Now they have moved it to a more usable spot.

Taking a Live Photo while in FaceTime has also returned with a button on the screen again.

iPhone XR users get a new Haptic Touch feature to expand notification on the lock screen or Notification Center.  This was a feature that used Force Touch before.  Now a long press on the notification will expand it.

Also improvements to eSIM and bug fixes around out the update.
