The public and developer beta for iOS 12.1 is out and 9to5mac.com has already started to unpack it.

Group FaceTime

Group FaceTime was one of the features promised in June for iOS 12, but was pulled from the final release. Group FaceTime let’s you video chat or audio call with up to 32 others who also have FaceTime. Well it’s returned to beta 12.1

AirPower

Looks like development on the missing AirPower mat is still on going.

However, new evidence from the iPhone XS and iOS 12.1 suggests that, while it may be delayed, development of AirPower continues.

there’s also mention of AirPower in the new pack-ins with the iPhone XS

iPad

There was also mention of a fall 2018 iPad in the code of beta 12.1. Specifically, it mentions connecting it to a 4K monitor, maybe through usb-c? Could be interesting. Could this be the new iPad Pro 2018?

Looks like we have lots to look forward to as we head towards the holidays!
