Samsung has emailed pre-order customers that they don’t know when the Samsung Galaxy Fold will launch. Samsung has told those that preordered that their orders will be cancelled unless they respond or the device actually ships before May 21.

The Galaxy Fold is one of the first folding phones that was scheduled to be released. Unfortunately, when Samsung supplied reviewers with devices, many ran into issues that damaged the device.

So reviewers developed bumps on the screen from debris that got into the device through hinge. Samsung will need to re-engineer the device to make sure that the near $2000 device doesn’t break in the first week.
