Hello everyone!

I just wanted to touch base with what’s going on behind and in front of the scenes.

I’ve created and instated a Privacy Policy!

I wanted to take a minute here and talk about the goal of this site.

Originally, I just wanted to make a website for all my writing samples.  It was just going to be a place where I would post samples of my creative writing and writing techniques articles. In an effort to write more, and have varied samples, I decided to write about one of my passions: technology, in particular, Apple.

It was fun to watch as more and more people started coming to the site, mostly by word-of-mouth. After watching it all happen, I decided to really give this website more attention and passion because I honestly enjoy working on it.

But I don’t want to become just another technology website and I really do still care about creative writing.

So I’m trying to write daily, market (it makes me feel so slimy when I do it), and learn about running a website.  My time to work on the site has actually been taken by my full time job, but things are going to slow down a little bit there until after the New Year.  Up to this point, I’ve been writing fast and furiously.  I hope going forward I can spend more time on each article instead of just trying to get it done.

But for now, I have to pay the bills some how.

Still, you might see some changes happening on the site as I learn more.

What is this site?

As I mentioned, this was supposed to be a repository for my writing samples.  It’s not just that anymore.

This is a site about my personal interests, namely technology and writing.  I’m focusing mostly on Apple, but I hope to expand to other technology as I can.

I try to write articles that break down some of those hard-to-understand technical things that most websites talk about.  I feel like that’s where I’m best right now, breaking things down to understand.

So, if you have a friend who’s looking for a new iPhone or something in the tech space, it would mean the world to me if you would send them my way.

Also, if you need a freelance writer, that’s one of my next goals.  I’m available, and I’m willing to work and learn as much as I need to for you.

Goals

I really don’t like my site being covered in ads, but right now, that’s pretty much the only way I’m making money.

I’m hoping to grow the daily users on the site enough that I can get rid of the majority of the ads and get sponsors instead.  That way, I’m not bogging you down with ad after ad.

I also want to expand eventually to podcasts and/or videos soon.

I’d also like to run some contests soon as well.
