According to a new report from Ming-Chi Kuo, it looks like Apple is working on a new iPad Mini.  All you Mini fans can celebrate that the line might not be dead after all.

Kuo says that Apple will launch a new version of the iPad mini, which has not seen an update in several years. Kuo says the device will feature an upgraded processor and a lower-cost panel.

MacRumors

From the rumors, you can expect an upgraded processor and probably a lower cost since the new iPad has pushed the boundaries for the price down.

No mention of time frame or if anything else will change, but I wouldn’t expect a FaceID system on it.

AirPower and AirPods

It also seems like AirPower isn’t dead yet either, as mentioned after the iPhone XS launch

Kuo also mentions that AirPower could launch later this year or early next year.

Along side AirPower could finally be the AirPods 2 which should have the wireless charging case as well as a better chip which would inable the “Hey Siri” command without having to tap on the Pods themselves.

Other stuff

Kuo also mentions the iPad Pro and updated Macs in his report, but nothing new is released there.

Check back this week as we go through what I’d like to see in a new Mac, why AirPods are so great, and maybe touch base on that iPad Pro again.

Don’t forget there’s an Apple Event next week.  I plan on covering everything that’s announced on the site and live tweeting while it happens.

As always make sure you’re following the site on Twitter and Facebook.  There’s also a Facebook Group that I’m hoping to get going as well.

You can also sign up for our mailing list and get the weekly update sent directly to your e-mail so that you don’t miss any of the important things happening during the week.
