Good Morning everyone,

I wanted to take a moment to discuss the lack of updates on the site recently. I first off want to apologize for the lack of content in the last few weeks. I know the few of your that come to the site for news and opinions have probably noticed the lack of updates lately.

I haven’t given up. I’m not sick.

I’m just trying to pay the bills.

I am currently a teacher and a tennis coach in my day job, and we have recently gone back to work and practice. While I would like nothing more than to focus solely on this site, my writing, and all the myriad of projects I have started the income generated on the site doesn’t cut it. Not yet.

If you’d like to know more about me, check out my new About Me page.

I’m committed to working the hardest I can – to my job and to my site. Right now, with planning, teaching, coaching, competing, and grading I am working 12 to 14 hour days. That’s not leaving me much time to work on JS wordSmith. On Friday our tennis team had a tournament. I left my house at 4:45 in the morning and didn’t return until 9:00 at night. I was constantly supervising students or driving a bus.

I’m still trying to write at least 3 days a week. An article that might have been written in a couple of hours is now being written in the few minutes I have when I get home. I’m not planning on stopping anytime soon, it’s just that articles are taking longer to get out.

I still want to continue this, and provide the best analysis and commentary that I can. I have big plans I just need time to implement them.

So please, keep checking back. Please keep sharing and getting the word about what you like about the site. I would love nothing more than to work on the site full-time, but I can’t do that until we get the numbers way up.

Thank you to all that have already found us and shared. Like I say all the time, I am so thankful for you.

Hopefully, I’ll be able to get some more time in this week and get some of the articles I have planned posted.
