Apple has released updates to most of its major operating systems today. The headlining feature is the redesigned Apple TV app on iOS and tvOS.
You’ll be familiar with the new Apple TV app if you’ve ever used its previous version before. It did get a new coat of paint and Apple has added in Channels.
Channels allow you to subscribe to streaming services from within the app. When you do it this way, the video will open inside of the Apple TV app instead of kicking you out to the native app.
There is also more curation of videos that Apple is trying to recommend to you based on what you watch and what the companies are trying to push.
